Anton François
PhD in applied mathematics
I'm a post-doc at ENS-Saclay's Borelli Center. I recently completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics at the MAP5 laboratory of Université Paris-Cité. I'm working on an image registration algorithm called Métamorphoses, which I'm applying to MRI scans of brains with cancer. I'm generally curious about lots of scientific disciplines. Since the beginning of my studies, I've been fascinated by complex systems, such as the emergence of consciousness or interacting ecological systems. What's more, when I realized that our economy was at the root of our lack of commitment to a sustainable society, I started training in this field.
